Mark McDonald is Alien's Director, Program Management. He has been with Alien for three years, first as Director, System Electronics for Displays and for the last two years,Product Manager for the Battery Assisted Passive (BAP) Product line. He was previously, Candescent Technologies' Manager of Applications Engineering, responsible for customer technical and product integration support, technical marketing support, competitive analysis, product concept and demonstration vehicle design and construction. Prior to Candescent, Mark was Regional Applications Manager for the Eastern Region as well as a Field Technical Manager specializing in flat panels for Sharp Electronics. Earlier, he held various technical positions at IBM and Motorola. McDonald has almost twenty years experience in electronic design, applications engineering, and applications engineering management. He has three issued patents and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
